All district communications will use our current notification system described below.

Alert Notification System - School Messenger
Our district is using the School Messenger Notification System to provide timely communication to parents and staff members on matters such as district emergencies and general interest activities. In order to enhance our ability to accurately deliver that information, please create your own contact preference profile using School Messenger’s Contact Messenger website.
The Contact Manager feature allows you to control the ways in which you prefer to be contacted. It also works like a mailbox, giving you a place to review messages you may have missed. PARENTS: When entering ID numbers, do not add child’s name, ONLY the ID number.

The Littleton PTA is a non-profit organization made up of parent volunteers.  The PTA is an organization whose members care about children and their opportunities for growth into happy and responsible citizens.
As part of our goal to enhance the education of our children, the PTA does many fundraisers and provides many activities that our children may not have otherwise had.
The following is a list of just a few programs we will be providing this year.  The PTA volunteers work year round to ensure we can provide these activities to our children.

Fundraising:  Our year kicked off with a fall fundraiser of wrapping paper
and Kidstuff books.  We also run the Box Tops for Education Program. Send in your Box Tops and your child's class could win a prize.
Please also send in Labels for Education. Printable sheets:

Activities:
We often hear the question, “What exactly does the PTA fund?”  Well, here are a few of the programs and activities that the PTA funds and helps to coordinate and execute.

Cultural Arts:  The goal of the PTA Cultural Arts program is to enhance the children’s learning experience by bringing in author’s who ignite the spark of creativity. This year the PTA is proud to sponsor programs that include dance, science, and literature.

Staff Activities:   Our faculty and staff certainly deserve our support and appreciation.  Each year, the PTA recognizes our staff with our Welcome Back Breakfast on the day before school and a special luncheon in May for Staff Appreciation Day.  Our parents work hard to ensure that these events are special for each of our teachers and staff.

Additional Student Activities:  Each year, the PTA sponsors and provides activities and courtesies to our students and their families.  In December, the PTA runs a Holiday Shop to allow children the opportunity to purchase gifts for their family members.

Book Fairs:  Each year, the PTA coordinates and runs a Book fair two times a year.  In the past the PTA has been able to provide FREE books to the library and classrooms.

Scholarships:  The PTA provides scholarships to High School seniors who apply.  We provide a$350 scholarship to 2 seniors attending college.  We are proud to provide these children with a small start on their higher education funding.

Community Relations:  The Littleton PTA provides and participates in a variety of community programs.  One event is our annual Holiday Angels which is held in December.  Volunteers from our organization were able to provide a very happy holiday to many families in our community who are less fortunate than us.  Our team organized the collection of gifts for needy children and adults to be distributed for the holiday.
PTA also supports the Interfaith Pantry with the collection of food items in November and  May.  We are happy to support them through our Food Drive.

Volunteers:  The PTA has many volunteers that are willing to help in all aspects in our school.   We have volunteers that help with kindergarten orientation and registration and many other activities and events.

As a strictly volunteer organization, the PTA works to ensure that the money that we raise and ultimately spend on all of our children is done with the utmost fiscal responsibility. Membership to our organization is open to anyone who wishes to become a member.
